Human-in-the-Loop Task Manager for AI Agents
Message Send Delay

A Few Seconds
To Reconsider

Turn on a countdown for any workspace, and every chat message you send waits a few seconds before it actually reaches the agent — long enough to catch a typo, short enough to stay out of your way.

Live capture from the AgentRQ app — sending a message, the countdown appearing with Send Now and Cancel, Cancel restoring the text unsent, and a second message delivered early with Send Now.

How It Works

A per-workspace setting, a countdown on send, and two ways out before it lands.

1

Pick a Delay, Per Workspace

Workspace Settings → General → Message Send Delay: Off, 3s, 5s, 10s, 15s, 30s, or 60s. Off by default, so nothing changes until you opt in for the workspaces where a pause is worth it.

2

Send Starts a Countdown

Hit send and the message shows "Sending in Ns…" right in the thread, alongside two buttons, instead of reaching the agent immediately.

3

Send Now, Cancel, or Wait

Send Now delivers immediately. Cancel pulls it back, unsent, and restores the exact text and attachments to your input box. Leave it alone and it delivers on its own at zero.

Every Workspace Decides For Itself

A workspace where an agent moves fast on production infra can run a longer buffer than one where you're just brainstorming — the delay is a property of the workspace, not a global switch.

Every existing and new workspace ships with the delay off, so nothing about how messages are sent changes unless you turn it on yourself.
